Lenferna Consulting was founded by Marc Lenferna in August 2010 and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Marc Lenferna has been involved in consulting and developing web-based solutions for over 10 years. His passion lies in ensuring clients receive world-class solutions and products to enhance their service offerings, revolutionise content availability, improve business performance, streamline processes and comply with legislation by using the Microsoft SharePoint platform and Office Suite of products.

He has specifically been involved in the Microsoft SharePoint consulting and development industry since 2003, working for both Microsoft Gold Partners and enterprise corporates. Over these years Marc specialised in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Portals and has delivered high-end enterprise business solutions for numerous companies across many verticals, primarily financial services leaving a successful project track record. Marc's focus is on delivering high quality ECM, Knowledge Management, Enterprise Search and Document Management solutions.

While focusing primarily on SharePoint Products and Technologies, he has also been involved in a large number of integration solutions using SharePoint.

Marc focused on his strengths and desires to build an industry-leading, forward thinking, SharePoint business and technical solutions consultancy. Surrounded by a network of specialists, Lenferna Consulting is inspired by quality SharePoint Business Solutions.

Lenferna Consulting now consults across South Africa and internationally. We assist clients who are considering or embarking on SharePoint projects – from mature enterprise SharePoint deployments requiring scaling to architecture advice.

Driven by knowledge, Marc is actively involved in the global technical and business communities, sharing his experiences. He is a community leader for the South African Information Worker Community User Group, focusing on inspiring communities of practice for SharePoint and assisting with industry issues around design and rollouts. He has the opportunity to share his years of experience to new comers and experts on the subject of Enterprise Content Management solutions, Business Process Improvements and Workflow. He is a regular speaker on these topics, both locally and internationally.
